Modeling a shoe without a CAD file for reference is HARD. I used photogrametry for the first time to get a basic shape and proportions correct. It worked out great, the model wasn't directly usable but it made the Zbrush process a lot like tracing.

The tread detail on the sole of the shoe was too intricate for a Normal map in Octane render. So my only other option was to import the model into C4D at 11 million poly's, no maps.  The video below shows my final zbrush model un-textured, and Material ID's.
